There's aproximately over 8,000 weddings every year in Sarasota county alone every year. In our event planning the business is considered sucessfull if reaches 10% of that market. I am building a team to reach and surpass this goal. How do you see this current opportunity working for you? Choose one.

I'm excited to be part of the growth and success of this team I'm sure I can learn a lot from this experience and decide about my future as it comes I'm not sure I can be available that often, 80 events a year sounds like a full-time job I'm only looking for a few hours to add to my working schedule

Compensation:
When assigned for a event your time will start at our meeting location or once we pick you up till we drop you off. Besides you minimum event pay we will take car of gas if you are required to drive as well as your meals while on the job. What other expectations of compensation do you have?

Skills & Training:
Every year, I invest hundreds to thousands of dollars in training, workshops and networking to grow in my business and for my business. I know the importance that being up to par on trends, products and productivity makes in a business and I'm willing to pay for it! As much as I would love to bring all of my assistants to learn with me sometimes it is just not possible financialy, just yet. I'm not going to ask you to pay me to train you...relax! How do you see as a value to learn new skills from me aside from the every event assistant knowledge you will acquire? If i'm willing to train you and teach you the new skills I've paid to learn, do you feel like you need to be somehow compensated for your training time? if yes, how?

Events:
We only do one wedding show a year and it has come with great results to expose our company and meet our future brides face to face. We are looking to possibly do two shows next year. Typically in our industry wedding planner assistants attend the Wedding shows unpaid, unless their attendance is mandatory or the assistant is employed full-time. It is up to the planner to recognize the employees efforts and williness to serve. It is customary to treat the assistants to lunch or a gift card. How do you feel about that?

What are your expectations of pay?

Confidentiality:
We are all about our clients privacy. Weddings are intimate events where family and close friends attend. Sometimes our Brides&Grooms become vulnerable and we protect their privacy at all costs, we become their shoulder, their confidant, their advisor, etc... Everyone is required to comply with our privacy policy that includes but not limited to taking any pictures/sharing any information or posting any comments regarding your job, or anyone involved in the wedding/event anywhere, anytime even after the fact on any social media or online. Do you have a problem with this policy? Can you comply? Are you able to sign a confidentiality agreement?

Limitations:
At "My Storybook Party" Bride&Groom are the most important people to us and our priority all day! So we do anything to accomodate them, as a planner sometimes we have to pick up other vendor's slack in order to carry out their perfect day. This might include picking up a chairs, moving tables, transpoting heavy or fragile items, looking after childreen and elderly or disable family member. Do you have any restrictions that would prevent you to assist or perform any job related to an event that you can think of? Or any physical limitations?
Example: I can't witness anyone throwing up, I second that before I can look away! But I can run all day on adrenaline for a wedding anytime.

Business Privacy:
We require everyone to sign a "work for hire agreement" that limits your ability to compete in the Planning/Decor and Flower for a period of 24 months and 150 mile radius from our Sarasota business location after your last day of work with us. Do you have a problem with that agreement? If yes, please explain or list any additional questions or conflicts you may have.

Professionalism:
Our agreement to hire you requires you to be "on stage" when working with us. It means that while representaing or assiting "My StoryBook Party" you are required to conduct no other personal business or sales, avoid conflict of interest in the industry as well offer or share information about our clients. You may not share any clients contacts in a form of lead to anyone else in the wedding business or solicit our client for business or pleasure. Can you comply?
